Collaboration builds Capacity

The Australian Financial Review reports on Acacia System’s research collaboration project, supported by the Defence Innovation Partnershipfor Australia’s Future Submarines. This research offers the opportunity to significantly increase the operational capability of the Attack Class submarines through the application of Artificial Intelligence techniques to the combat system. The project will focus on advances in detection and tracking capabilities, classifying sonar signals, periscope imaging, and assisting command-level decision making. We are proud to lead this work with our valued collaborating partners – the University of Adelaide, Flinders University, Defence Science and Technology and Lockheed Martin Australia Pty Ltd.
